The Buddies boss has found himself under pressure after a difficult start to the campaign, which has seen Saints fail to pick up a victory so far.
Lennon's own position at the Paisley club has been the subject of recent speculation but, as league business resumes after the international break, he insists he is ready for the challenges ahead.
He said: "It's a part of a journey that every manager goes through, some more than once. It's part and parcel of the job.
"I won't lie, it's not a pleasant part of the journey but it's an experience I will take with me.
"But, let me assure you, Danny Lennon is in a good frame of mind and very keen and eager to kickstart our season.
"There is nobody in that dressing room moping around and feeling sorry for themselves.
"The players are now stepping up to the plate and showing their true character. I can see that on a daily basis."
