Marshall, a first-round pick in the 2012 NBA draft, was released by the Washington Wizards on October 28, three days after he was acquired from the Phoenix Suns in a multi-player trade.
He has been playing for the Delaware 87ers of the NBA Development League since December 3.
In 48 games with the Suns last season, Marshall averaged 3.0 points and 3.0 assists.

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Quincy Pondexter has had surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot and will be out indefinitely.
Pondexter injured his foot during a December 7 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
