Live Commentary
11:00
That's time. Not too many conclusions to draw from that session, but we know for certain the weather will play a huge part in qualifying. We have full coverage from 1pm UK time - join us then.
10:54 Lewis Hamilton is back out on a damp circuit. Tyre choice is going to be so important in qualifying. If there is no more rain they will surely go for standard dry tyres, but what makes it harder is there are some part that are almost totally dry and others that are still pretty soggy.
10:40 Limited action at the moment. The rain has stopped and the track is drying, but times are a good 15 seconds slower than usual. This could put a real cat amongst the pigeons in qualifying. Not, it must be said, what Lewis Hamilton wanted.
10:33 Heikki Kovalainen stacks it into the barriers around the swimming pool section and leaves debris all over the track. Red flgs out while stewards clear the circuit.
10:21
It is raining! Heikki Kovalainen has set the fastest time of the day with a 1:16.567 with Lewis Hamilton second. That's as fast as the times will get, but the teams now have the chance to try a wet set-up.
10:11 It is a frenetic start. The track is still dry but the heavens are expected to open any minute so the drivers are getting their laps in while they can.
10:00
This morning's free practice session has been declared 'wet' with clouds gathering around Monte Carlo.
