90+5' FULL TIME: All square at Stamford Bridge. Didn't see much hope for Southampton at halfway, but they dug in and deserved to get back on terms. Pressure on Benitez will mount.
85' TORRES! He had space, he charged to the edge of the area, got good power behind the shot, but put it just wide.
84' Yellow for Luiz as he blocks Ramirez on the break.
80' Torres on, Lampard off. Benitez throwing more bodies foward. A draw would be a very poor result, especially from the position they were in.
75' GOAL! WHAT A GOAL FROM SOUTHAMPTON! Shaw with a bursting run down the left that leaves Azpilicueta for dead, and then Puncheon takes a touch to tee it up before lashing into the far post. Cech no chance!
74' Final change for the Saints, with Ramirez replacing do Prado. Chelsea yet to make any.
72' LAMPARD CLOSE! Nobody moves, keeper included as Lampard strikes the ball. But he starts it out too wide, and it's curving away.
70' Ouch - Mata goes down in a heap after Yoshida kicks him in the shin on the edge of the area. That's really hurt the Spaniard.
68' BA CLOSE! How's that for a ball from Mata, floated in over the top - if Ba had finished on the volley it would have been sensational - as it is, he lashes over the bar.
67' Clumsy from Schneiderlin, who crashes into Lampard as he competes for the ball. Free kick for Chelsea inside their own half. Chaplow on for Davis.
58' SOUTHAMPTON SCORE! IT'S LAMBERT! Clyne gets down the right, whips in the cross, and Lambert nods into the corner. That's stirred things up!
55' First change of the match: Rodriguez off for Southampton, Lambert on.
46' The second half begins!

45+1' HALF TIME: One minute of added time - and it's the interval at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea really only near full pace for five minutes of the half, and they have a healthy lead nonetheless. Long way back for Southampton.
45' RAMIRES HITS THE BAR, BUT HAZARD SCORES! Ramires with a snapshot that bounces back for Hazard, who places it past Boruc on the half-volley. Tidy finish, and it was coming.
43' LAMPARD AGAIN! This time he gets the shot away, but it crashes well wide of goal. Mata was the architect on the right, holding the ball up before teeing up his team-mate.
42' LAMPARD! Blocked - that was Ba who got it started, with a delightful backheel to Hazard on theleft. Hazard knocked it across the goal and Lampard tried to shoot - he could have laid it on to Ba as well.
36' CHANCE! Steven Davis should have levelled it! There was the chance - fashioned by Rodriguez, whose control is superb. He lays it back for Davis, whose first-time effort from just inside the area is shanked wide.
25' GOAL! It's Demba Ba! He does very well there as Azpilicueta's cross bounces off Oscar. Hooks it in and it may have taken a deflection off his marker as it did.
16' CHANCE FOR SOUTHAMPTON! Puncheon rises above Cole to get a header away after a good cross from do Prado, and frankly he should have done much better with it. It sailed well wide.
10' CLOSE! Ba on the right, playing in a cross Hazard and then Ramires almost manage to help in. First meaningful opportunity for either side.
1' Away we go!

As a Man U follower RAFA makes me soooooooooo happy.
Everybody should have a RAFA.....he makes me smile everytime. As a Man U fan I just love him .
Lets follow liverpool and give our players low wages and bonuses depending on how well they, then they will have something to play for.
When the saints go marching in. What a game wot a score YEA YEA YEA
Only Marin
I hope those haters and bad sport writers who always said negative things about saw the game yesterday. Was it Torres's fault that Chelsea surround a two-goal to southampton? The moment the second half started, I knew something wrong would have occured. Because Chelsea started to shut the game off by playing at the back ( their usual style of play). They were not prepared to open the game any more, so Southampton started to attack. And their goals or come-back was well deserved. In as much as Torres is not scoring, Ba and Hazard did score, but they failed to keep the lead. I am a Chelsea for 15years now, and I do love this club. But when things are going wrong, it's good to speak them out. Chelsea like to play at the back. This is the main problem that is hampering the team. They started the first half of the game very well, but when the second half started, they begun to play slow, and stick at the back. Torres is not the problem. Even Ba said the same thing when he first played for Chelsea.Torres is not the fault, so I hope those sport writers be fair in writing their stories. In as much as Torres is not scoring, he always contributed toward some of the goals and victories.
Well done to Southampton for a well deserved comeback and well played second half. But Chelsea blew it again, Gary Cahill is not a great Defender and this guy is an England Regular, it amazes me. He always looks shaky and doesn't give any confidence that he is rock solid. This guy looks weak and very vulnerable and Chelsea need to look at the central defensive partnership, currently not working at all.
Only one sub in this game ? why dont you try other players you stupid Benitez ? why not give Marin a chance for example ? you swtich Lampard for torres ...pathatic
im really tired of Chelseas disgrace in football, you got a bunch of players that earn more than some1 a year in a month even a week , and they dont perform?? at home?? the chelsea board are killing the club this time, Bruce Buck, an american who got no clue this isnt USA, we care about football iight!! Abramovic seems he doesnt care! so whats the point in wasting your money ? tbh yes we have not history like man united or liverpool or arsenal but come on guys if you want ur countries league to be the best you must have the best teams right? if Chelsea and man city had no rich owners united would be like on 60 points now and second place would be like 40 ... im sick of chelsea right now i feel bad for this team, unless somethin is done, shouldnt buy expensive players and they dont perform! im not sure but i hope that Mourinho will come back to Chelsea this summer coz if Benitez stays, United fans or City u can surely then win the league again next season coz this season we surely cant, we just need to fight for top 4 and no we wont win Europa league , im guessint it would be A,Madrid vs Inter

Abramovich and his atitude with managers is the reason why Pep will never come to the bridge. This will now be a period of instability within Chelsea.
