0km - Tom Boonen is horribly boxed in with 400 metres to go, Robbie Hunter is trying to come through on the outside...Lampre's Daniele Bennati is looking good through the middle...Bennati has it!!!!
1km - The Quicksteps are moving through now with Tom Boonen about 10 men abck as they go under the 1km barrier.

7.5km - Jose Ivan Gutierrez attacks from the breakaway! Juan Antonio Flecha has gone with him.
8km - Patrice Halgand is pushing hard on the front of the peloton for Credit Agricole now.
9km - Race leader Alberto Contador is sitting right in the wheel of George Hincapie. The big New Yorker has so much experience in this kind of situation protecting Lance Armstrong.
10km - The rain is beginning to come down now. Could this play a part in the stage finish on the cobbles? Gap is 20 seconds.
11km - Flecha seems to be running out of steam in the breakaway, though the gap is coming down fairly rapidly.
13km - The youngest man of the Tour, Geraint Thomas (21), and the oldest man of the Tour, Inigo Cuesta (37), have both made it back to Paris.
15km - The gap is down to 28 seconds as the escapees begin to tire.
18km - 35 seconds is the latest split. Credit Agricole have come to the front to share the work.
20km - The Barloworld riders are beginning to tire. If the gap continues to grow then expect the Quicksteps to move forward. Lampre certainly won't do anything now they have Ballan out in front.

27km - It's Barloworld followed by Discovery followed by Lampre at the front of the peloton now.
30km - The ten breakaway riders are working very well together. They have 30 seconds on the pack, but they'll undoubtedly need to build on that.
32km - The breakaway is struggling to increase its lead over 26 seconds as Barloworld two the peloton along.
34km - Barloworld hit the front of the peloton now for Robbie Hunter.
35km - Guttierez, Delage, Ballan, Gerrans, Scholtz, Flecha, Charteau, Fischer, Portal and Knees are the group. Their lead is 28 seconds.
38km - Ten men habe broken clear of the peloton, and have a ten second lead. Marcel Sieberg (Milram) is in there, as are two Caisse d'Epargne riders.
43km - Vicente Garcia Acosta is the next to put his foot down.
44km - Oscar Pereiro and Chris Horner are stringing things out on the front of the peloton while Freddy Bichot is out in front.
48km - The first attack of the day comes from the Agritubel team!! The cattle prodders are always willing to try their hand, however high the odds stacked against them. It's Freddy Bichot, the man who was in the breakaway on the first stage.
51km - The Predictor-Lotto team of Cadel Evand are sitting in just behind.
54km - The peloton has started on its eight laps of central Paris along the Champs Elysées and the Rue de Rivoli. The Discovery boys are still on the front.
60km - DID YOU KNOW? Only four winners of the green jersey have won the final stage on the Champs-Elysées: Bernard Hinault (1979), Freddy Maertens (1981), Djamolidine Abdoujaparov (1993) and Robbie McEwen (2002). Tom Boonen will try to become the fifth man to do that this year.
65km - FdJ, T-Mobile and Quickstep are at the front now as we move into Paris.
72km - Chatenay-Malabry: Lilian Jegou (FDJeux) dashes round the outside of the two Quickstep boys to take the six points and pick up a nice bonus of 800 euros.
77km - Quickstep move to the front of the peloton ahead of the first intermediate sprint as everybody starts to pick up pace.
80km - For the first time since 1996, there will be two members of the same team on the podium: Alberto Contador and Levi Leipheimer (Discovery). Not since the year Bjarne Riis 'won' the Tour, with jan Ullrich in second has that happened. Before that, you have to go back to 1984 (Laurent Fignon and Greg LeMond for Renault-Elf), and 1985 and 1986 (Bernard Hinault and Greg LeMond La Vie Claire).
85km - The arrival of the final stage of the Tour into Paris will mirror the finish of the start of the race in London. Ken Livingstone and Bertrand Delanoë, the mayors of the two cities, will hand over the jerseys.
89km - The Discovery Channel team of Alberto Contador has now come to the front of the peloton to control the pace.
91km - Steegmans again takes the points at the top of the Cote de Chateaufort, this time followed by Albasini and Popovych.
97km - You won't see that too often. Big Gert Steegmans, Tom Boonen's lead-out man, has gone through a climb ahead of the pack. He takes the three points at the top of the Cote de Saint-Remy ahead of Thomas Lovkvist (FDJeux) and Frederik Willems (Liquigas).
104km - Rain has been forecast for the finish of the stage, though for now the skies are holding up. There a covering of cloud, and a number of the riders have their long sleeves on as it's rather chilly.
110km - The Gerolsteiner and Milram teams are at the front at the moment, rolling along happily and chatting amongst eachother.
116km - Just 30 kilometres have been covered so far. Hardly a searing tempo.
130km - The peloton is still makign its way serenely and leisurely towards Paris. No attacks to report so far.
142km - Axel Merckx and Michael Boogerd are both riding their final stage of the Tour. They will retire at the end of the season.
143km - Ag2r's French champion Christophe Moreau is lining up along the front line of the peloton alongside the yellow jersey of Alberto Contador, the polkadot jersey of Juan Mauricio Soler, the green jersey of Tom Boonen and the white jersey of Amets Txurruka.
