If you are going to break into, steal from and deface a house, you should really make sure that it isn’t owned by a former NFL offensive lineman.
However, that’s what up to 300 unruly young kids did in Stephentown, New York over Labor Day weekend – a public holiday in America.
Brian Holloway, formerly of New England Patriots, arrived home to find the remnants of a mammoth party that the youths had elected to throw at his 200-acre property.
The search for the culprits was not as arduous as it can often be in these cases – the cheeky little blighters put photos all over social media boasting of their endeavours.
Rather than be incandescent at the $20,000-worth (£12,520) of damage done and hunt them down to exact terrible revenge, Holloway set up a website helpmesave300 in which he posted as many screenshots of them as possible in an effort to speak to them.
The reason? He thinks 300 young lives are at risk through their own actions and he would like to try to put the kids back on the straight and narrow.
