Mario Balotelli has become a father after his girlfriend Raffaella Fico gave birth to a baby girl three weeks early.
The Manchester City striker - himself famed for his child-like antics - is said to be "delighted" after his daughter was born in Naples.
The girl, who weighed a healthy 8lb 4oz has been named Pia Fico after Raffaella's mother.
A source at the Clinica Mediterranea said: "Pia was born on Wednesday night and both mother and baby are doing well."
Balotelli and Raffaella split earlier this year, but reconciled in October.
It is not thought the striker will return to Italy before Sunday's derby against Manchester United.
