Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that Bayern Munich are "clearly superior" ahead of their Champions League tie second leg.
The Frenchman was mightily impressed with the way Bayern played during the first leg at the Emirates, a match the Bavarian side won 3-1 to assume control of the tie.
Wenger says he cannot get away from the fact that Bayern are a high quality side and he knows his own team have an extremely difficult task on their hands if they are to qualify from the last 16.
Yet despite history and recent form going against the Gunners in Munich on Wednesday, Wenger still harbours hope they can defy the odds and gain revenge in Bayern's back yard.
