Riccardo Scimeca admits it is "difficult" for Cardiff to concentrate on the game against West Brom with the FA Cup semi-final fast approaching. But Scimeca insists the Bluebirds will be at their best against their promotion rivals, as they aim to secure a play-off position.
He told the BBC: "It's difficult not to think about that game. Everybody's very excited. But we've got to think about a big game against West Brom first.
"We've got to look forward and hopefully get the three points from that [the West Brom game] because we're also doing well in the league. We want to go into each game thinking about winning it. West Brom also have the league to go for.
"I think the FA Cup has helped us in the league by taking a bit of the pressure off us. They've been favourites all season to get promoted so it's going to be a big game for us.
"Let's get this one out of the way first, concentrate on it and then we focus can all our attentions to Sunday."
