Barnsley manager Simon Davey has hailed the double signing of Argentine Hugo Roberto Colace and Frenchman Mounir El Haimour.Colace, 24, who has joined from Newell's Old Boys subject to international clearance, captained the Argentina Under-20 side that contained Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano, while El Haimour, 27, signed from NE Xamax on a two-year deal.
Davey told the club's official website: "This is a massive coup for the club. Hugo is a tremendous talent and has a very good pedigree after playing for the Argentinean national team right through to Under-21 level.
"He is technically an outstanding footballer and we cannot wait to start work with him here.
"We are delighted to have brought him in and sure that he will have a big part to play for us next season.
Davey added: "Mounir is an exciting player and is naturally left-sided, so he'll add something to our squad which we were missing last season."
