Shrewsbury are still waiting for their £500,000 windfall after Joe Hart was kept on the sidelines during England's win against the USA.The deal that took Hart, 21, from his hometown club to Manchester City for £600,000 two years ago included an add-on for winning a full England cap.
Hart was signed for City by then boss Stuart Pearce, who has since nursed him through the England Under-21s.
The keeper has caught the eye of senior England coach Fabio Capello and is expected to make his England debut in the weekend friendly in Trinidad.
"Everyone just wants to be involved and play for their country - and if I get the opportunity I will be the happiest man around," Hart told the FA website.
"It's great looking back on how far I've come, but also how far there is still to go - and I won't take anything for granted."
