Southend boss Steve Tilson has yet to lodge any formal offers for potential summer signings as he scours the transfer market intently.Tilson has confirmed he is trying to add a goalkeeper and a left-back to his squad, but is remaining coy on any other comings and goings before the start of the new season.
"We're certainly looking but no bids or offers have gone in for anyone at this stage," Tilson told the Southend Echo.
"We've let a few go so we need to replace them in order to make the squad strong, but players are becoming available all the time and at this stage the work doesn't really stop.
"You're always looking for players and it's important to bring in the right ones."
