The new Luxembourg cycling team have added three further signings to their ranks as they look to give the Schleck brothers greater ammunition for next season.

Belgians Maxime Monfort and Wouter Weylandt and German Dominic Klemme have all signed up for the Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project which will enter competition next season.

Monfort, who finished 11th in the Vuelta in 2007 and won this year's Bayern-Rundfahrt, admitted the chance to try and win the Tour de France for Andy or Frank Schleck was one of his key motivations in joining the team.

"When I heard about the possibility of this team being created, I became very interested very quickly," he said.

"Now I am extremely motivated by the idea of riding alongside such fantastic athletes in our attempt to win some of the Northern Classics and indeed carry the yellow jersey to the Champs Elysees."

Weylandt joins from Quick-Step and has stage wins in both the Vuelta (2008) and this year's Giro to his name.

"I've chosen this team because it's a new project so everybody will be super motivated; after more than six years in the same team, it will be good for me to have some fresh air and new people around me," he said.

Former German U23 champion Klemme is familiar with the Schlecks having ridden with them at Saxo Bank for the last two years and has been favourably compared to Jens Voigt who has already confirmed he will also move from Saxo Bank to the new team in the off-season.
