South African lock Boela Du Plooy will retire at the end of the season, his French club Stade Francais have revealed.
The 31-year-old arrived at the Paris-based club in November 2005 on a three-year deal from Free State Cheetahs.
He joins a long list of players to quit the club this year.
Prop Pieter de Villiers has already retired as will winger Christophe Dominici at the end of the season.
Outside-half David Skrela is leaving for Toulouse, while coach Fabien Galthie will be replaced by Australian Ewen McKenzie.
Stade Francais meet Toulouse in the second French Top 14 semi-final in Bordeaux on Sunday. The winner will meet Clermont next Saturday.
