Castres came back from 12-0 behind at half-time to defeat home side Bourgoin 14-12 in the Top 14.
Scrum-half Mickael Forest scored after only three minutes to give Bourgin the lead at the Stade Pierre-Rajon, finishing off a sustained drive by crossing on the blind side.
Hooker Remy Vigneaux went over for 12-0 on 30 minutes in a similar situation, but fly-half Benjamin Boyet could not kick again after his earlier successful conversion.
Castres came out fighting in the second half. Wing Mathieu Bourret got the first points on the board after 11 minutes after lax defending from Bourgoin, with Romain Teulet on hand to send the ball over for another two.
Bourgoin held on until the 70th minute when Samoan Laloa Milford scored in the corner for Castres after outpacing the home defence.
Teulet bagged the victory with a stunning conversion from out on the touchline.
However Boyet had one more chance to win the game for Castres, his penalty struck agonisingly wide of the posts.
