Notts County assistant manager Dave Kevan has revealed the Magpies are finding life in the transfer market difficult.Eight players have already left Meadow Lane as manager Ian McParland looks to rebuild his squad for next season but Kevan has conceded finding the right players this early on in the summer is proving an uphill task.

"We are speaking to one or two players who are out of contract and one or two agents who may have players we would like," he told the club's official website.

"We are trying to compete with the alternatives that they may have.

"It is very early days and there are not many players out there who would commit within a week of the season finishing."
