Guildford Heat came close to their first ULEB Cup victory of the season before falling to Siauliai 76-86 at home to drop to 0-9 in the tournament.
The Heat blew a three-point first-half lead despite impressive offensive performances from Elmer Harrison and Daniel Gilbert and good team defence that forced 16 turnovers.
Gilbert led all scorers with 23 points, while Harrison added 19 and Tony Dorsey put in 12.
But Donatas Zavackas led four Siauliai scorers in double digits with 20 points to help his side improve to 4-5 and stay in contention for the final qualifying spot out of Group A.
The Heat face Turk Telekom in their final European match of the season next week.
