Darlington goalkeeper David Stockdale is expected to need an injection on an ankle injury before being passed fit to face Rochdale.
Stockdale required a string of injections in order to play in the first leg and is again struggling for the play-off semi-final second-leg clash at Spotland, with Przemyslaw Kazimierczak on hand to deputise if needed.
Defender Ryan Valentine (knee) and midfielder Ben Parker (hamstring) are both rated as 50-50 to feature, while attacking duo Tommy Wright and Pawel Abbott (both knee) are unlikely to be involved.
Alan White has recovered from a dead leg sustained in a bruising first encounter which saw the Quakers snatch a 2-1 win thanks to Ian Miller's last-gasp header.
Miller - along with midfielder Neil Wainwright - came off the bench to make a telling contribution at the Darlington Arena and the duo are both pushing to start.
Rochdale defender Nathan Stanton returns after a two-game ban, although goalkeepers Sam Russell - who has a broken finger - and hernia victim James Spencer (hernia) are out.
Striker Lee Thorpe is still missing after he broke his arm during an arm-wrestle with one of his team-mates on the team coach while travelling to the first leg.
