Lincoln assistant boss Iffy Onuora hopes the lure of first-team football will see Louis Dodds reject a new deal at Leicester and sign for City. The 21-year-old striker was a big hit during his loan spell at Sincil Bank this season - scoring nine goals in 38 starts.
But the Foxes revealed on Thursday that they will be offering Dodds a new deal at the Walkers Stadium as they prepare for life in League One following their relegation.
Onuora told the Lincolnshire Echo: "We are aware of Louis' situation and the fact Leicester want to keep him.
"The contract is only for a year and the danger is he could sign it, sit in the stands and fall off the radar."
