Robert Huth's agent insists there is "nothing in" rumours linking the defender with a move to Ajax as he is happy and settled at Middlesbrough.The Dutch giants were said to be lining up a summer move for Huth as a replacement for Atletico Madrid-bound Johnny Heitinga.

Incoming Ajax boss Marco van Basten is thought to be a big fan of Huth and was apparently hoping to lure the former Chelsea man to Amsterdam.

However, Huth's representative Manfred Schulte says there is no truth in the reports and that the player is happy at Middlesbrough.

"I have seen the rumours, but there is nothing in it," he said.

"Robert is under contract at Middlesbrough and he is happy there.

"He has settled there well and he has no plans to move.

"Robert is just focused on getting fit and being ready for the start of next season."
