Lincoln have had their chances of signing loanee Louis Dodds on a permanent basis dashed after he was offered a new one-year deal by Leicester.The 21-year-old midfielder is one of six out-of-contract players to be handed new deals by Foxes manager Ian Holloway at the Walkers Stadium.
Dodds has been a virtual ever-present for the Imps after arriving at Sincil Bank on a season-long loan in August.
He started 38 matches for Peter Jackson's side and appeared in four others, scoring a total of nine goals.
