Claudio Pizarro will rush back to where he is appreciated by returning to the Bundesliga with Stuttgart for £5 million.

Over to that other blue club with a new boss and bags of cash, Manchester City. Zenit St Petersburg have delivered the ultimatum over their striker Andrei Arshavin. City have been given until June 20 to sign him, or forget about it.

They have also rekindled their interest in Espanyol defender Pablo Zabaleta, meaning Mark Hughes could kick off his first match for the club with two new players that he doesn't want.

Some good news for Sparky comes in the form of Bernardo Corradi finally severing his ties with the club by joining either Siena or Bologna.

Tottenham will turn their attentions to PSV in their hunt for a new goalkeeper, as they aim to nab Heurelho Gomes from the team that knocked them out of the UEFA Cup on penalties last season.

Sunderland have been browsing through the White Hart Lane garage sale and decided on Darren Bent as a worthy and wise purchase.

Fabrice Muamba has come to a three-way crossroads on his quest back to the top flight, and must now decide whether to opt for the road marked Bolton, Wigan or Stoke.

Meanwhile, Paul Scharner is threatening to leave Wigan on a Bosman for some reason and John Lennon look-a-like Andranik Teymourian has joined Fulham from Bolton.

  6. I'm an AS Roma fan, but frankly I'm sick of all this @#$% about Chelsea never being in the same league as Liverpool Arsenal or Man U. Last I checked, since they've been a hot topic, they've done consistently better than Liverpool and Arsenal, won two premier leagues among the FA Cups etc they wons.

    Additionally, they aren't the only big spenders in the Premier league, they only spent BIG on Sheva...with that said they spent about the same that Man U did for Ferdinand ..a defender.

    In honesty it'd be cool if Rome had that money, but they don't, I'm over it. Can you guys get over it?

  10. The only thing that i have to say about cristiano ronaldo is that he needs to stop looking like a punk and then start crying for every little thing that goes against him. Sure he has skill but if his personality was as good as his skill he would be the best person to look up to. I have no problem with Messi or Kaka because they are both responsible guys that live humble lives. But Messi is 2 years younger and is 50 times more mature than that arrogant piece of........
