Henry not fit to face Baggies

Mon 14 Apr, 02:00 PM

Wolves will again be without midfielder Karl Henry when they take on Black Country rivals West Brom at Molineux on Tuesday night.Henry missed Saturday's 0-0 Championship draw at Bristol City because of a groin injury and has failed to recover in time for the eagerly-anticipated derby clash.

Darron Gibson deputised at Ashton Gate and could keep his place, although David Edwards is pushing for a return after missing out on a place in the squad at the weekend despite recovering from his groin problem.

Long-term absentees Michael Kightly (ankle) and Stephen Ward (tendonitis) will step up their returns in a behind-closed-doors game earlier in the day as they look to get back to full fitness before the end of the season.

Victory over the Baggies would lift McCarthy's men level on points with sixth-placed Crystal Palace, although they will still have another game in hand on the Eagles, who do have a superior goal difference.
