Holland admits player concerns

Mansfield manager Paul Holland admits his hands are tied as he tries to shape a squad for next season because of the club's ownership status.Holland is keen to add to his squad but admits the uncertainty over who will own the club by the time they kick off next season in the Blue Square Premier is holding him back.

"Players want to know what is happening but I can't tell them," he told the Chad. "If someone takes over then budgets may change and the retained list could change.

"Obviously players whose contracts are about to expire are entitled to speak to people and I have just asked them to keep me informed. There is nothing more I can do. We just have to be honest with each other."
