DKV Joventut and Galatasaray booked their place in the semi-finals of the ULEB Cup as the Top Eight stage got underway in Turin.
Joventut were always in control of their match with fellow ACB outfit Pamesa Valencia as they enjoyed a 77-67 victory.
Demond Mallett scored 16 and Eduardo Hernandez-Sonseca 14 in the victory.
A mammoth 19-0 run early in the game set them up for the victory with Valencia only putting some respectability on the scoreline in the final quarter.
In the other match, a three pointer with just eight seconds to go from Cuneyt Erden saw Galatasaray beat Istanbul rivals Besiktas 61-60.
It was an upset result, although Besiktas only took the lead for the first time with less than a minute to go.
However, Gala fought back for a deserved win with Robert Hite top scoring with 22 points.
DKV Joventut and Galatasaray will now meet in Saturday's first semi-final.
Tomorrow's quarter-finals see Dynamo Moscow take on PGE Turow and Akasvayu Girona battle with Unics Kazan.
