Russian outfit Dynamo, who won the competition in 2006, were ultimately too strong for their Polish opponents in Turin.

Henry Domercant put on 22 points for Dymano with six three-pointers out of six, while Milos Vujanic helped out with 16 points, Robertas Javtokas added 15 and Travis Hansen managed 10.

David Logan topscored for Turow with 19 and Thomas Kelati scored 15.

Turow led 33-30 late in the second half but Dynamo recovered to be in front 43-38 at the halfway point.

Domercant was in inspirational form in the third quarter, sinking four shots from outside the arc to extend their lead to 61-49 with one quarter to play.

It was the first time a Polish club had reached the last eight of the competition, while no side has won two ULEB Cup titles before.

Spanish team Akasvayu Girona denied Dynamo an all-Russian semi-final with a nine-point victory over Unics Kazan, also in Turin.

Arriel McDonald and Marc Gasol both nabbed 19 points to set Girona on their way, aided by Branko Cvetkovic (14) and Ivan Radenovic (10).

Dusko Savanovic and Sergei Chikalkin scored 12 points for Unics, Tariq Kirksay 11 and Virgil Stanescu 10. The side were missing Lithuania center Darjus Lavrinovic, who picked up a back injury just before the game.

Unics were level 36-36 at half-time and led in the third period, but were overcome at the last.
