Serie A - Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo has revealed that a deal is agreed with Juventus for the transfer of Italy striker Vincenzo Iaquinta.

Iaquinta, 27, has played in Udine for seven years and two years ago was recognised with an international call-up and subsequent place in the 2006 World Cup-winning squad.

"There is already an agreement between the two clubs," Pozzo is quoted in La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Iaquinta will go to Juve. It is not yet official but the clubs and player are in agreement."

When Iaquinta makes the move from one set of black and white stripes to the other, Udinese will arrange for his replacement.

"We already have the solution," Pozzo added mysteriously. "We think that it is interesting."

Asked if the club will move for prolific Reggina striker Rolando Bianchi, 24, he was cautious. "Bianchi? He is a good player but it seems to me that it would not be an easy operation [to pull off]."

Pozzo also clarified the situation of 20-year-old Colombian defender Cristian Zapata at the club.

"He is young. I think that Zapata should mature first at Udine," he said. "In addition the big clubs, before making definite investments, prefer to monitor a little further the younger players.

"We have not had any concrete offers, but interest - yes."
