Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has scotched rumours that he has threatened to quit the club if he was not given a better deal.
It had been speculated the Togo international, who has scored 30 goals in all competitions for the Gunners this season, said he would leave unless he was made one the club's top earners.
Adebayor said: "I am very happy here. Reports which suggest I have threatened to quit are rubbish. I love the club and the fans."
The 24-year-old forward was signed from Monaco for £7 million in 2006, after scoring just 18 goals in 78 appearances for the French side.
However, since the departure of Thierry Henry to Barcelona last summer, he has become one of the most highly-prized strikers in Europe, and has scored 24 goals in just 31 league starts this season.
