British crews sailed through to the finals today in the opening World Cup event of the year in Munich.
The women's quadruple scull made a positive start to their Olympic year as they comfortably won their heat to progress, while the men's eight edged out Australia to follow suit.
"There were excellent performances today from the women's quad and men's eight and it's also been a day of good stepping stones for some of our younger crews", said GB Rowing's performance director David Tanner.
