The assets of the failed Super Aguri Formula One team, including a race car and transporters, will be sold in an online auction later this month.
Auctioneers SHM Smith Hodgkinson said they had been instructed by administrators to sell the assets between July 29-31.
The Honda-backed team, founded by Japan's former grand prix racer Aguri Suzuki at the end of 2005, withdrew from the championship for financial reasons in May after the collapse of a planned takeover.
The administrators PKF said at the time that they were looking to sell the business "as an on-going concern to a company or individual looking to launch a Formula One or other motorsport operation."
The assets include an SA06 car used in the team's first season, in which they did not score any points.

Not the case Justin. Many ex.drivers manage today's drivers. They know the pitfalls, where the value is, whats important etc. The fact that the car may not be the quickest is not the key issue, many wins are won these days through intelligent driving & with the support of a good team. Whilst it is hard to out drive a car it's what many of todays drivers have to do take Honda and Red Bull for eg. Even the 'quick' cars that don't always perform well cannot always be out driven take Massa at Silverstone for e.g.
The point is it is a show case for fresh new talent to F1 teams and the viewing public. Rain and no traction control certainly sorts the men from the boys!
Do they have it in blue?
Storm I disagree... Its not the job of former drivers to create opportunities for younger drivers. And as bad as we've seen private teams struggle, whats the point in putting a car out there thats as slow as a GP2 car? Its embarrassing, hurtful for a career (ask yourself whats happened to most of the Minardi and Jordan drivers since 2002), and they can get in the way of the superior front runners.
Now, if a factory team wanted in, say Audi, Mazda, or Porsche, buying that team makes sense. First, they have a proven ladder of building drivers through sportscars and prototypes. Also, they have the budgets to be more than 'moving chicanes' and won't be going broke after just two seasons.
I think the $100m penalty fund managed by MS should be used to buy the team as a way of feeding new drivers directly into the sport.
Ex. drivers such as MS, Brundle, Hill and DC could and should play an active roll in the mgmt and strategy. It should be subsidised by the sport as a whole.
It's an ideal opportunity to take a defunct team, create some great PR for F1 and secure some great opportunities for young drivers. Perhaps the new 'Go Motorsport' campaign could play a significant part also.
Please VOTE below if you agree with the scheme. Lets make it happen!
I'm sure the SA06 gets good gas mileage, a good vehicle for grocery shopping and dropping the kiddies off to school. Actually Ross Brawn should buy it and study it closely.
Whether or not Ballack re-signs or not is a bit off-topic isn't it? ;)
And have some respect where it's due, even a crappy F1 car will still blow the doors off any other race car on the planet. The difference in performance between a winning GP car and last place is only a few percentage points in certain areas (most notably aerodynamics).
Hmmm what is one supposed to do with an SA06 after a pointless season ?
Ballacks delay in signing for Chelski appears to lend credence to rumours that he is looking to make a bigger impakt at a lesser team, perhaps even at WHUFC :-)
