ASH (Reuters) - Former Ryder Cup player Thomas Bjorn pulled out of the final round of the European Open on Sunday.
The Dane withdrew after feeling unwell overnight, organisers said in a statement.
Bjorn, who was two-over-par for the tournament, had been due to partner Jose Manuel Lara at the London Club on the outskirts of the capital but the Spaniard will now play on his own with a marker for company.
The 37-year-old Bjorn, who played in the triumphant Ryder Cup teams of 1997 and 2002, has had only two top-10 finishes in Europe this season and is down in 90th place on the order of merit.
