Derby defender Andy Todd has been told he is free to find another club as Paul Jewell begins shaping his squad for life in the Championship.The 33-year-old, who has made 23 appearances for the relegated Rams this season, has a year remaining on his contract but has been informed he is surplus to requirements at Pride Park.

Jewell said: "I've spoken to Toddy, he is a good pro but we're looking to change things around and if he can find a suitable home and it's suitable for us then we will allow him to leave on a free transfer.

"There's no fall out or anything like that. Hopefully we can get him sorted out quickly because he is a good player."
