Champions League - Real and Kiel take command

BM Ciudad Real and THW Kiel took command of their respective Champions League semi-finals with comfortable first-leg home wins.
The defending champions Kiel eased past FC Barcelona 41-31 in Germany.
Ciudad Real earned an equally impressive 34-27 win over Hamburg.
The second legs will be played on April 13 in Barcelona and on April 11 in Hamburg.
