Mon 05 May, 05:30 PM

Crewe Alexandra left-back Billy Jones has admitted to feeling disappointed at the Railwaymen's end to the League One campaign. The Reds only won twice in their last seven games and finished just outside the bottom four on 50 points after a lacklustre 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Oldham on the final day of the season.

New dad Jones, who recently recovered from a knee injury insisted that he was far from happy with the way in which they had finished the season off.

He told the club's official website: "It was a hugely disapointing way to end the season.

"It has not been a good season for us and we know that but we have to draw a line under it and and crack on for next year."
