Wimbledon - Serena and Venus reach doubles final

Serena and Venus Williams warmed up for their Wimbledon singles final by teaming up to reach the doubles title match as well.

The Americans, seeded 11, saw off France's Nathalie Dechy and Casey Dellacqua of Australia 6-3, 6-3 and will be chasing their third Wimbledon doubles title to add to their 2002 and 2003 wins.

In Sunday's final they will face America's Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur of Australia, the 16th seeds, who shocked top seeds Cara Black and Liezel Huber 6-3, 6-3.

The Williams sisters have also won the Australian Open doubles title twice as well as one French Open.

  5. these girls definitely know what turning the heat up means, you cannot afford not to love these girls and if you do not please try to reconsider and watch the highlights of this tournament you will see what i am talking about. Serena for the final.

  7. First, the Williams sisters not brothers as a racist said are two of the best players in the world. When you reachthe final you simply prove that you are good indeed very good. Do racists like them for sure no they don't. Why because these two are two black girls doing something black girls should do. They used to rule tennis and now they are trying their best to come back. No racist can't convince me that they are average players. I don't believe anyone had been too kind to them in this very white world of the tennis and again and again they proved people wrong. Hate them as much as you want. They are simply good and the world will always remember the Williams Ladies.

This two tennis Genius have obviously prove the doubters wrong: the doubters who cannot see beyond their nose not to talk of seeing the cloud beyond. Sport loving poeple in the world with SIXTH SENCE will know both of you have contributed a lot to the game of TENNIS. Girls who never dream of playing tennis before and probably do not have the gut of playing tennis in their entire life are been forced by parents who thinks they are of a better race to be in that position.
