Stockport County have sent goalkeeper Chris Adamson on an emergency seven-day loan deal to Blue Square Premier outfit Northwich Victoria.On-loan Blackpool keeper Lewis Edge was the only other option for heavily-depleted Victoria, after injuries to first-team keepers Ben Connett and Scott Tynan.
Adamson, 29, has found himself third-choice at County with manager Jim Gannon preferring their own on-loan goalkeepers, Leicester's Conrad Logan and John Ruddy of Everton.
He has played only in an FA Cup tie with Staines since joining Stockport from Sheffield Wednesday last July.
