Director of Rugby Ian McGeechan has expressed his delight after nine Wasps players were named in Martin Johnson's first England squad.
With nine players in the senior squad and another five in the Saxons, Wasps provide more players than any other Premiership club.
McGeechan (pictured) claimed it "reflects the club's ongoing commitment to English rugby".
He said: "Everyone at the club is delighted for those named in the England squads.
"With the new RFU agreement in place this season we as a club face yet another tough challenge to balance the demands of domestic and international rugby, however we strive to produce players of the highest calibre and the announcement is yet again proof of Wasps' commitment."
Riki Flutey was among those called up, and McGeechan expects him to be a "fantastic asset" for England, just as he has been at club level.
He said: "I am delighted for Riki. Throughout the season he has shown himself to be one of the most exciting players in the Premiership."
McGeechan was also quick to praise Flutey's team-mate Josh Lewsey after he was recalled.
He said: "This season Josh has proven his calibre as one of the greatest backs in the English game.
"His has consistently demonstrated his ability and I am delighted that he has been included in the squad."
