Robinho, Dani Guiza, Giovani Dos Santos and, er, Michael Kightly - just some of the big names being linked with a move to the Premier League in the latest instalment of Transfer Talk.
First up, the boy wonder who three years ago was labelled the latest 'new Pele' - about the 23rd in total to come out of Brazil.
Robinho (pictured) is facing an uncertain future at Real Madrid despite having starred in Real's title triumph last season. And who better to link yourself with than newly crowned European champions Manchester United?
As far as 'come and get me pleas' go, Robinho's effort, voiced through the Brazilian press, was a fairly shameless attempt to get the attention he craves from the Premier League's top club - and Chelsea too. Only time will tell if it pays off.
Robinho said: "I have never hidden away my wish to remain at Real Madrid, but if the interest is serious I will have no problem leaving Real Madrid as the interest from Manchester United and Chelsea makes me very proud."
Sensing his opportunity, the tricky winger went on to tell Portuguese newspaper A Bola that Real have already received an offer from United, as part of an exchange deal for a certain in-demand Portugal forward.
"One is from Manchester United which would be in exchange for Cristiano Ronaldo and the other is from Chelsea," Robinho confirmed.
United have so far refused, at the time of writing at least, to respond with lawsuits or strange comparisons with the Franco dictatorship at the latest inclusion of Ronaldo's name in yet more transfer tittle tattle.
But suffice to say, if Robinho really does want a move to Old Trafford, suggesting the apple of Alex Ferguson's eye is on the verge of leaving is hardly the best way to ingratiate himself to his prospective new manager.
Over to the Emirates, where Arsene Wenger is busy figuring out which promising young stars he can bring to Arsenal without breaking the bank.
Last season's top scorer in La Liga, Mallorca striker Dani Guiza, is highly rated and, at £11.8 million, comes at an affordable price for the Gunners as Wenger seeks to find a partner for Emmanuel Adebayor.
Getafe midfielder Ruben de la Red - like Guiza, on his way to the European Championships with Spain - has also been linked with Arsenal, with a £9.4 million price tag on his head. But Arsenal can expect competition from their arch rivals from down the road - Tottenham.
Staying with Spurs for the moment, boss Juande Ramos looks intent of turning White Hart Lane into an Anfield-style Spanish-speaking enclave as he closes in on the signing of promising young striker Giovani Dos Santos from Barcelona.
"Nothing has been finalised," Giovani's father, former Brazilian footballer Zizinho, said. "But it is an honour that a club as important as Tottenham want to sign Giovani, but nothing can be said officially yet."
Meanwhile, Wolves winger Michael Kightly seems poised to cap an incredible rise through the ranks of English football by making a £4 million move to the top flight.
The 22-year-old was still playing for Grays Athletic just a year-and-a-half ago - when he earned the title of 'the Ryan-Giggs of non-league football' - but his rise ever since has been nothing short of meteoric.
According to Grays owner and manager Mick Woodward claims Blackburn, Everton and West Ham have all put in bids. But then he would, wouldn't he - Grays have a vested interest in a big money move as they will benefit from a sell-on clause should the player leave Molineux.
Elsewhere, Aston Villa midfielder Shaun Maloney will not be making a return to Glasgow - with either Rangers or Celtic - according to his agent. "We have no contact from anyone in Scotland," John Halliwell said.
Frank Lampard is set to be offered a bumper £130,000-a-week deal to stay at Chelsea, but Shaun Wright-Phillips is on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge, with Portsmouth leading the race to capture the England winger.
And finally, Newcastle and West Ham have been linked with a move for Almeria's former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo.

Ronaldo could leave if he wants, i am sure things will work with Robinho much better at this moment of time... Also i believe that OUR NUMBER 7 is with Sprite anybody who wears it will be great in the name of Football...
Really sick of the news of Ronaldo leaving Man.Utd. If he really likes Real so much, please just get out of Old Trafford. Without him, Man.Utd won't die! Look at Beckham, Van Nis...Without them, Man.Utd doing fine! I suppose at 23 years old, he is still so naive and foolish! Players like him just look at $$$. I really wish that he joins Real. At his very first game, got tackle by some gusty defender and broke his ankle, his shin or whatever. Thereafter, have to sideline for 18 mths and while coming back to full fitness, torn his ligament, pull a hamstring and sideline for another 8 mths. On his comeback game (2010 season), broke the other leg and takes another 12 mths to recover. By then, maybe he can form his own club "Real Awful Ronaldo FC" and play with school boys from Madrid! "Money will only buy you shortlive fame and fortune"
Football's Fanatic: "....look at Gary Neville, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and maybe Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes. They'll will get a place....blah blah blah..."
Isn't that contradictions to your own view that Real favours more on their own academies products? i.e. Neville, Giggs, Scholes. Well how about Phil Neville, Butt, Fletcher, Richardson, Bardsley? If the player is not competitive enuv to earn a place, he dun play, as simple as that... little to do with whether he's home-grown. Compare to manUtd, I think Real give even less opportunities to it's academy-products... Real buy too many high-profile players.
another argument to that view-point is look at example like RobrtoCarlos and PradragMijatovic. anti-example is Morientes.
I agree with most of the comments said that if any star player go to Real Madrid, He will not be a star anymore because Real Madrid never appreciate their star. They only appreciate the local star like Raul, Casillas and Guti. All of these have played for a long time because they are Spanish. If you are not Spanish and when your carreer going down, they will find more best players to replace and they will kick you out for the team when they does not want to use you anymore. And for Ronaldo, STAY AT MAN UNITED because they always appreciate and love you. For a proof, look at Gary Neville, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and maybe Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes. They'll will get a place at Man United coaching staff to appreciate their contribution for the club. Come on Man U and Ronaldo!!!!
Ronaldo is the best in the world and on fire. I don't think he will move to real madrid....... he is a clever person....
Do u see the light of robben move to real madrid just to watch his team mates play in big matches.......
I think that Ron should leave Man Utd & think of a better future he has in front of him.He is certainly a good player & can do even better somewhere else.I am not really a Man Utd fan but i think that he has had enough at man Utd 7 take a flight 2 Real Madrid. He has played enough games at Old Trafford!!!
