Leinster's coronation as Celtic League champions came a week early as Michael Cheika's side proved far too strong for the Newport-Gwent Dragons in the title decider at the RDS, running out 41-8 winners
With their final two matches against the struggling Dragons, Leinster only needed one bite of the cherry to claim the win that secured their second league title.
Consistent throughout the season, the Irish province cut loose in their final home game with tries from Ollie Le Roux (two), Shane Horgan, Shane Jennings, Chris Whitaker and Cameron Jowitt.
Le Roux, who is returning to South Africa at the end of the season, and Ireland flanker Keith Gleeson were both afforded standing ovations when they were called ashore.
The 31-year-old Gleeson, who came back from a serious leg break in 2004, was playing his last game of professional rugby.
The Dragons showed plenty of heart and got over for a late consolation try with experienced prop Adam Black the scorer.
But there was no denying this was Leinster's night as they celebrated their first league success since 2001 and their first silverware under Cheika.
Llanelli 23-24 Munster
Munster's replacement fly-half Paul Warwick kicked a penalty in the 10th minute of injury-time to snatch a Magners League victory from the Llanelli Scarlets, who had sacked director of rugby Phil Davies last Tuesday.
The Scarlets had seemed destined to be on course for a morale-boosting win as they led 20-5 at the interval and 23-16 on normal time.
Warwick launched the Heineken Cup finalists' dramatic comeback with a try on 86 minutes, but his touchline conversion rebounded off the right post.
But he made up for it with a penalty goal from inside his own half - the last kick of the game - to stun the home crowd.
Ulster 24 - 35 Glasgow Warriors
Tries from Lome Fa'atau, John Beattie, Max Evans and Thom Evans saw Glasgow past Ulster in Ireland.
Dan Parks also weighed in with 15 points from the boot.
Ulster scores came from Isaac Boss, Roger Wilson, and wingers Simon Danielli and Tommy Bowe.
