Glasgow 25-6 Ulster

A consummate kicking display from Dan Parks and a late try from Scotland teammate Andrew Henderson lifted Glasgow up to fourth in the Celtic League as they secured a 25-6 win over basement side Ulster.

The Warriors flew out of the blocks at the start of the match racing out to a 12-0 lead by the interval thanks to four penalties from the boot of the Australian-born Parks.

But they looked in danger of squandering their early lead as David Humphreys reduced the arrears to just six points early in the second half to set up a tense finale to the match.

Henderson came to the rescue with 10 minutes left on the clock, however, scoring the crucial try before Parks added the conversion and two more penalties to become the second highest scorer in Celtic League history behind Humphreys.

Leinster 29-9 Connacht

Leinster needed two late tries from Gordon D'Arcy and a 100 percent kicking record from Christian Warner to see off a stubborn Connacht side in their Celtic League clash at the RDS.

Leinster produced the kind of lethargic performance that Leicester, their opponents in the opening round of the Heineken Cup next weekend, would be pleased to see.

But in the end D'Arcy's two late, opportunistic tries along with Warner's seven from seven in the kicking department was enough to see them notch up a seventh straight win over Connacht, who could only muster two penalties and a drop goal, all from the boot of Tim Donnelly.
