Georgia back Otar Eloshvili has been banned for seven weeks following a tackle on France's Remy Martin during the World Cup pool game in Marseille two days ago.

Eloshvili, who received a yellow card following the incident, was cited and summoned to appear before World Cup judicial officer Jannie Lubbe.

Lubbe upheld the citing complaint with Eloshvili's suspension taking effect from September 30, up to and including November 18.
