Tom Boardman has become the second SEAT Eurocup driver to qualify for the FIA World Touring Car Championships.
The 24-year-old Brit scored the most points in the competition's second race meeting at Pau.
At Estoril he will drive the SEAT Leon TFSI for SUNRED Engineering Development.
Boardman takes over from Spaniard Oscar Nogues as the Eurocup representative.
Nogues participated at the WTCC Pau after topping the Eurocup standings in Valencia.
Boardman's career to date has seen him win seven British National Saloon and Touring Car Championship races, come fifth in Production Class at the 2003 BTCC and, after his switch to SEAT trophies, he claimed a 2005 British Cupra Cup triumph and third place in the 2006 Spanish Supercopa.
