Spain top FIFA world rankings

PARIS (AFP) - Spain's win on Sunday in the Euro 2008 final over Germany has hoisted the country to top spot in the FIFA world rankings for the first time.

The Spaniard haves taken over from World Champions Italy with Germany moving up to third and Brazil slumping to fourth.

FIFA World rankings:

1. Spain (+ 3 places)

2. Italy (+ 1)

3. Germany (+ 2)

4. Brazil (- 2 places)

5. Netherlands (+ 5)

6. Argentina (- 5)

7. Croatia (+ 8)

8. Czech Republic (- 2)

9. Portugal (+ 2)

10. France (- 3)

Of course not, unless it is the TOP 10 Bad Teams... They would be there competing with Wales Scotland and Ireland..
