Alan Pardew takes Charlton to Plymouth on Saturday insisting they will do all they can to rekindle their fading Championship play-off hopes. The Addicks' last-gasp defeat by Wolves on Saturday saw them slip to 11th in the table, and they are now four points adrift of the all-important sixth place.
"It looks very difficult to get in the play-offs, but we will be ready to take on Plymouth on Saturday and we'll be giving it as good a shot as we can to try and win it," said Pardew.
"We go to Plymouth and while it's still mathematically possible we'll give it a go. The league is so strange, you can't give anything up."
