Jansrud tops downhill training again
Kjetil Jansrud led the way again on Thursday’s World Cup training session on the Olympic downhill course in Kvitfjell, Norway.
The Norwegian clocked a time of 1:44.85 seconds down the slope as he topped the standings for a second successive day. Swiss veteran Didier Cuche finished second, 0.48 seconds behind Jansrud as he got to grips with the slope to good effect.
Meanwhile, Klaus Kroell of Austria was third, 1.06s behind.
Jansrud has secured seven career World Cup podium finishes, but none in downhill racing as he looks to put that right.
The downhill race takes place on Saturday, with super-G races on Friday and Sunday.
